    Join us on an unforgettable journey to the Rwenzori Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experience the rich culture of Uganda's mountain communities. Standing at an impressive 5,109 meters (16,762 feet) at its highest peak, Mount Stanley, the Rwenzori Mountains offer breathtaking scenery and diverse ecosystems to explore. This 10-day adventure combines trekking through the stunning landscapes of the Rwenzori Mountains National Park with immersive cultural experiences and community engagement.

    Itinerary:

    Day 1: Arrival in Kampala and Cultural Immersion

    Arrive at Entebbe International Airport

    Visit the Masilo Cultural Centre and learn about the local culture and traditions

    Enjoy traditional music and dance performances

    Engage with local community members and learn about their daily lives

    Overnight in Kampala

    Day 2: Drive to Fort Portal

    Drive to Fort Portal, the gateway to the Rwenzori Mountains

    Overnight in Fort Portal

    Day 3: Rwenzori Trekking

    Start trekking in the Rwenzori Mountains National Park

    Hike through diverse ecosystems and enjoy the stunning scenery

    Overnight in mountain huts or campsites

    Day 4-6: Trekking and Exploration

    Continue trekking and exploring the Rwenzori Mountains

    Enjoy the breathtaking views and diverse wildlife

    Day 7: Trekking and Community Engagement

    Continue trekking and exploring the Rwenzori Mountains

    Engage with local communities and learn about their traditions and customs

    Day 8: Ewaka Cultural Experience

    Visit the Ewaka Cultural Site and learn about the local history and traditions

    Participate in traditional cooking and crafts

    Enjoy a cultural dinner and entertainment

    Day 9: Community Service

    Spend the morning donating scholastic materials to village schools (approx. 2 hours)

    Engage with local students and teachers

    Return to Fort Portal in the afternoon

    Day 10: Return to Kampala

    Drive back to Kampala

    • 60 days or more before departure: Full refund less deposit
    • 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund
    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
