    The Challenge You Help Reverse

    Example: Kyani Nyanza Primary School

For 22 years, 920 students and 7 teachers have studied and taught under trees. Parents meet the headteacher under a tree. When it rains, lessons stop. Girls drop out due to lack of privacy. Worm infections spread as children use bushes for toilets. Health, dignity, and education are lost every day.

This is not unique to Kyani. Across rural Uganda, many children still learn under trees, walk miles to fetch unsafe water, and study in unsafe conditions. Without change, dropout rates rise, health declines, and communities remain trapped in poverty and unemployment.

    The Build a School Program

Civicom Aid is changing this story by:

    • Constructing classrooms where none exist
    • Building toilets to safeguard health
    • Providing clean water points for hygiene
    • Creating digital and literacy spaces that open doors to opportunity

    Your Role

As a Partnerships Ambassador, you will be the bridge between urgent projects like Kyani and the people who can support them.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify potential supporters: corporations, foundations, nonprofits, businesses, faith groups, and individuals
    • Build and maintain accurate contact lists of partners
    • Connect supporters with Civicom Aid to secure funding

    Expected Outcomes

    Through your effort:

    • At least one donor or partner will be connected with Civicom Aid’s Build a School Program
    • Classrooms will replace trees, toilets will replace bushes, and clean water will replace disease
    • Children will learn in safe spaces, families will save on health costs, and communities will thrive
