    Description

2026 Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day Planning Committee - Kick Off September 13th (FL)

The National STEM Society is a registered 501c3 nonprofit focused on STEM education, research, and teaching institution of excellence, where women, girls, and our youth K-College can feel at home while learning about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) best practices, financial literacy, small business management skills that will help them thrive after their traditional school years are over. As a parent, what more can you ask for? Help us build tomorrow's future business leaders of North America for STEM fields and careers.

We are pleased to announce the next SPARK STEM opportunity!

THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY ONLY. This committee will have an on-site event project to kick off, start, organize, and close. This is a 6 month agile initiative to host in February 2026 as an educational outreach initiative in Florida or Georgia.

Submission of a volunteer interest does not guarantee placement on the committee.

We are building a team of student leaders and STEM professionals ready to engage in the development of the National STEM Society "SPARK STEM 365 Careers City" interactive exhibit and day of gaming. Careers City was created as an opportunity for 6th grade students through college interested in STEM careers to learn more from STEM "GO-LIVE" Professionals and students studying in STEM fields.

This exciting news needs volunteers to support the execution of the outcome for the upcoming 2026 National Engineering Week activities and 2026 "Introduce a GIRL to Engineering Day" in February 2026 (Week of President's Day).

VOLUNTEERS WANTED! REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR EVENT LEADERS, POTENTIAL VENDORS & SPONSORS!

This initiative will provide K-College students with the chance to learn more about STEM careers and more directly from professionals.

If you're passionate about inspiring young minds in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. In that case we invite you to join us to educate, initiate, and innovate hands-on educational activities.

We will release specific meeting information in September as part of our strategic project plan to prepare for next year's programming requirements, volunteer needs, and sponsorship goals. Submission of a volunteer interest does not guarantee placement on the committee.

Thank you for your volunteer interest. We look forward to serving you.
