    About Us

    The American Red Cross North Texas Region mobilizes volunteers and community partners to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. Our Volunteer Services Department recruits, trains, and engages thousands of volunteers who carry out the Red Cross mission across disaster relief, biomedical services, service to the armed forces, and more.

    We are seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator Intern to join our Volunteer Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or emerging professionals to build their portfolio while supporting meaningful humanitarian work.

    Responsibilities

    The Content Creator Intern will work closely with the Volunteer Services Recruitment and Engagement team to:

    • Content Development
      • Design flyers, graphics, and short-form videos for volunteer recruitment and engagement campaigns.
      • Write social media posts, volunteer spotlights, and recognition stories.
      • Support email communications and newsletters.
    • Storytelling & Media
      • Capture photos or video (if local) at events, trainings, and volunteer activities.
      • Edit and prepare content for multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Idealist).
      • Highlight volunteer impact through storytelling.
    • Strategy & Collaboration
      • Collaborate with staff on campaign ideas to reach specific demographics (youth, Latino engagement, healthcare professionals).
      • Assist in maintaining a content calendar.
      • Share creative input to strengthen outreach and recognition.
