    Join Girls Rising: Empowerment Mentor Volunteer Opportunity

    Girls Rising aims to build strong, empowering relationships through one-on-one female-focused mentorship for girls aged 8-17 from historically underserved communities in San Diego county. Our program helps girls and young women develop supportive, key relationships and allows them to feel a sense of belonging to a community that is built on sisterhood and connection.

    We match our Mentees with a Mentor that can provide support, guidance, and opportunities to help navigate challenges and help meet their goals. Our Mentors encourage their Mentees through positive role-modeling and a consistent, 1-1 relationship. Our matches meet one-on-one during their personal time and go on outings that align with their interests. Girls Rising also hosts monthly events where matches can bond and meet other members of the program.
