At Empowered Futures, we are committed to creating confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults through self-empowerment, business mentorship, and unwavering support to help them unlock their full potential.

As a UX Writer, you will help craft clear, consistent, and user-focused content across our digital experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and researchers to shape the language that guides users through our product—from buttons and error messages to onboarding flows and help content.

    Responsibilities

    • Write concise, user-centered copy for UI components, product flows, navigation, and in-product messaging.
    • Partner with UX designers to create intuitive, accessible experiences using content design best practices.
    • Develop and maintain content standards, style guidelines, and tone-of-voice documentation.
    • Use data, research, and usability testing to evaluate and iterate on content.
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, localization, and support teams to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
    • Advocate for users by ensuring clarity, empathy, and inclusivity in all copy.
    • Contribute to content strategy initiatives such as taxonomy, naming conventions, and information architecture.

    Requirements

    • 2–5+ years of experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, Product Writer, or a related role.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing clear, thoughtful UX writing and content design processes.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Experience working in cross-functional product teams.
    • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and agile product development.
    • Ability to adapt tone and style to match brand guidelines.
    • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive language principles.
    • Experience with localization/internationalization is a plus.
    • Background in UX research or content strategy.
    • Knowledge of SEO or technical writing.

    Benefits:

    • Empower emerging adults to grow and develop into confident, capable individuals.
    • Lead a dynamic team and collaborate with senior board members.
    • Expand your professional network and gain leadership experience.
    • Opportunity to advance within the organization, with the potential to serve as a board member.

Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young adults while shaping a brighter future for mental health and well-being. Together, we can inspire hope and create lasting change. Apply now!
