    I. Volunteer Specialists

    Volunteer Specialist will support the Client Service team, by creating and facilitating insightful workshops that correlate with our mission and vision. This volunteer will also be highlighted on caris.org social media platforms to create educational awareness that supports our clients (spiritually, emotionally and physically).

    The goal is to provide additional programmatic resources that will Equip, Empower, and support women to Thrive.

    II. Client Services Volunteer

    Working in client services within a dynamic environment requires adaptability to ever-evolving client needs. Flexibility in handling different tasks and situations is important for success in this role. A volunteer must have a heart to serve, providing a grace-filled experience.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Office Tours
    • Support Programming
    • Essentials Boutique
    • Inventory/Shopping
    • Support 3:17
    • Support Trainings
    • Support Events

    III. Front Desk Volunteer

    The front desk plays a crucial role in getting our clients connected to our services. They are the first face of Caris. A warm, friendly presence, clear communication skills, and the ability to multitask are required for this role.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Answer Phone/Text
    • Schedule Appts.
    • Support Operations
    • Support Office Events
    • Support Trainings

    IV. Outreach Volunteer

    This role interacts with internal and external staff, stakeholders, and clients by promoting/coordinating events, canvas for donations, and conveying the mission, and guiding the impact of Caris into the Chicagoland & suburban areas.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Support (External) Outreach Events
    • Support (Internal) Office Events
    • Support Fundraisers
    • Support the Guiding Light Pilot
    • Receive In-Kind Donations
    • Community Liaison
