    Description

    Volunteers provide regular weekly check in telephone calls to Vitas patient's and caregivers. Provide social support, and ascertain any needs or concerns. These calls can be flexible, made in the early evening or weekends, or during the day. Volunteers can make the calls from their home. Patient training and a caller script is provided. Calls must be made around same day each week, regularly.

    This is a good position for you is you enjoy talking on the phone, want to provide meaningful support to hospice patients, and help care for patients and their families.
