Gap Year Students Uganda Hands for Hope is a grass root organisation at the frontline of poverty, and is currently looking for Gap Year Students who are committed to joining a young team of energetic and purpose driven volunteers and the team of Ugandan staff. We are interested in individuals who are passionate about elevating the poor health and daily needs of a community living in extreme poverty, and who are passionate about making a difference.

Why volunteer with ‘Uganda Hands for Hope’ Uganda Hands for Hope offers a unique opportunity to volunteers who want to get involved and put their experience and skills to great use with a grass root organisation. Uganda Hands for Hope runs a series of different programmes aimed at supporting children and families through educational and training. We have mainly focused our support on the helping the people living in urban slums, however with the thanks to many friends and supporters we have also been able to offer support of different forms to a number of other grass root organisations in Uganda.
