Description
Forensic Services Volunteer Position Summary-
Provide a child-friendly environment for children before and after their interview, including purposeful play and appropriate interactions with others in the Forensic Service area.
Maintaining and at times running the reception area.
Answering doors and phone calls.
Clerical work as needed.
Duties for our forensic services opportunity include greeting families as they come in, checking in clients, and playing with children in a safe and comfortable setting. Apply your skills to other projects as needed and desired!
Time Commitment:
One shift per week required (4hrs)
6-month commitment required
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Must be over 18 years of age.
Ability to communicate effectively with children of ALL ages.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong interpersonal boundaries.
Comply with all program policies and procedures of CornerHouse.
Ability to work closely with staff.
Volunteer Shifts:
Morning Shift: 08:00 to 12:00 CST
Afternoon Shift: 12:30 to 16:30 CST
Current available shifts (Last updated 2.19.26): Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. Tuesday mornings and afternoons will be opening in March.
