Deliver Birthday Balloons to Hospice Patients/Walsenburg Co

Birthday Balloon Delivery Voluneer - This volunteer role ensures that hospice patients receive a birthday balloon/gift on their birthday. Every birthday counts for a hospice patient, and our birthday balloon delivery volunteer ensures that this day is not only remembered but celebrated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Volunteer participates in Hospice orientation, training and a background check
• Volunteer receives monthly emails with patients birthdate, name and address
• Volunteer receives a monthly gift card to purchase balloons and/or gifts
• Volunter insures a timely delivery of birthday balloon/gift to patient
• Volunteer tracks time in a tracking App

Skills and Qualifications

• Caring, friendly and compassionate toward the elderly
• Ability to receive emails and record volunteer times
• Ability to drive to patient's homes
• Ability to keep patient information confidential

Time Commitment

• Hours will vary from 1-2 hours per MONTH depending on birthdays per month
• Days will vary depending on date of birthdays, but times are flexible
