    Description

Prepare & Serve Lunch for Soup Kitchen

    Switchpoint Shelter Meals

    Shared Meals. Shared Humanity.

At Switchpoint, a hot meal is more than food—it’s a sign of safety, care, and community. We provide emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, and every meal we serve is part of a larger path toward housing and stability.

Thanks to donations from our community and the time of volunteers, our residents are met each day with nourishment and dignity. Preparing and serving these meals is one of the most direct ways to make someone feel seen and supported.

    Cook. Serve. Be the shift.

    What will volunteers do?

Volunteer to Prepare and Serve Meals at the Shelter

Gather with others to make a real difference—one meal at a time.

As a meal volunteer, you’ll help prepare, serve, and clean up after a shared meal with our shelter residents and other guests on campus. You don’t need to be a chef—just someone who believes that everyone deserves a warm plate and a welcoming place to eat.

This is hands-on, team-based service that fills both stomachs and hearts. Come help us turn generosity into comfort.

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?

    • Wear clothes you won't mind getting stained or dirty and closed-toe shoes.
