Job Description (Volunteer / Unpaid)
Join an Animal Law & Policy Advisory Committee at Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW)
Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) is forming a series of honorary advisory committees made up of passionate individuals, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals, who are eager to contribute their expertise in animal law and policy. Our work prioritizes cross-continental collaboration, with a special focus on partnerships between Africa and Europe.
We are currently inviting applicants with experience or a strong interest in animal law and policy, including both domestic (primarily from France and Tanzania) and international legal frameworks relevant to animal protection and welfare.
Advisory members provide expert advice and help shape our programs, research, and advocacy. They promote ethical and culturally respectful animal welfare and support collaboration between Africa and Europe. We welcome both experienced professionals and new voices who bring fresh ideas and global perspectives. Committee members can also help with advocacy, outreach, and fundraising as part of their volunteer work. Members may be asked to join virtual meetings, contribute to legal workshops, or support knowledge-sharing sessions across regions.
This is a remote, part-time volunteer position (unpaid) open to applicants anywhere in the world.
Estimated time commitment: 5 hours/week, flexible and remote.
