    Description

    Daily Operation Volunteer

Volunteers fill crucial roles to support the wildlife care facility providing optimal care for our wild patients. Animal Care volunteers are responsible for providing all forms of daily care in the animal care facility. Tasks may include helping with cleaning and sanitizing enclosures, food & water dishes, laundry, making meals, working with the public, sharing information about native wildlife, special projects around the facility, setting up new enclosure spaces, and much more.

Wildlife rehabilitation is a specialty - you must be dedicated and dependable. The rewards are immeasurable. Animal care volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of one shift (two-three hours) per week. This shift is required to be the same weekly commitment to ensure consistent care is able to be provided for our patients.
