    Public Relations Associate

    About Us:

    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    We’re looking for a Public Relations Associate to join our growing team!

    What you’ll do:

    • Collaborate with journalists and media outlets to foster positive coverage of our organization
    • Support the planning and execution of events, press conferences, and other PR activities
    • Craft press releases, coordinate press conferences, and address media inquiries
    • Generate favorable publicity and promote the organization's products, services, and key messages
    • Cultivate and maintain a positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the media, customers, employees, investors, government agencies, and the general public

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience as a Public Relations Associate or similar role, preferably in a related industry
    • Experience with digital PR strategy, including social media management and online reputation management
    • Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt style for different audiences
    • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of media relations practices, including media list development, outreach strategies, and media monitoring
