Fundraising Helpers for the Arts (Remote Volunteer Opportunity)

    Organization: Arts4Schools, Inc.

Location: Remote (work from anywhere in the U.S.)

    Description:

Arts4Schools is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Fundraising Helpers to support our mission of bringing arts education to underserved schools. We provide high-quality arts programs, including performing arts, edible arts, holistic arts, visual arts, martial arts, and more, to schools across Connecticut and Washington, D.C.

As funding for the arts continues to be cut nationwide, your help is vital. Fundraising Helpers assist our small but passionate team in identifying funding opportunities, reaching out to donors and sponsors, and sharing our mission with new supporters. This role is perfect for anyone who believes in the power of creativity and wants to help children thrive through the arts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with online and community-based fundraising efforts
    • Research potential donors, sponsors, and grants
    • Help craft donor outreach messages and thank-you letters
    • Support virtual fundraising events and campaigns
    • Share Arts4Schools’ initiatives on social media and community platforms

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • A passion for the arts, education, and community empowerment
    • Ability to work independently and meet small deadlines
    • Prior fundraising experience is helpful but not required

Time Commitment: Flexible, 3–5 hours per week

    Location: 100% remote

    Start Date: Immediate
