    Description

    Silverado Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals to join our volunteer team. Our patients are terminally ill and in the final stages of life, and your time could make a meaningful difference during this sacred part of their journey.

    As a Hospice Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit patients in their homes or in nursing facilities. Volunteers are needed to:

      • Read aloud from books or newspapers
      • Share hobbies or interests
      • Play or listen to soothing music together
      • Engage in meaningful conversation
      • Bring flowers from a garden
      • Share personal photos
      • Or simply sit quietly and offer the gift of presence
