    About Us:

    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    We’re looking for a WordPress Developer to join our growing team!

    What you’ll do:

    • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including theme customization, plugin integration, and overall site optimization
    • Translate design concepts into functional WordPress sites, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
    • Optimize website performance, including load times, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
    • Identify and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, plugins, and themes
    • Work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure cohesive and effective website functionality

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress sites you have developed or contributed to
    • Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
    • Experience with popular WordPress themes and plugins
    • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO plugins
    • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to implement design guidelines effectively
    • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
