About the Bhutan Foundation

The Bhutan Foundation works in five core areas: conservation of the environment, preservation of culture, equitable development, good governance, and creating greater awareness and understanding of Bhutan in the United States and around the world. The Foundation’s vision is for Bhutan to be a progressive society enriched by GNH values, and our mission is to enable the people of Bhutan to reach their full potential by developing local capacity and facilitating global support. The primary focus of the Foundation, through all its program areas, is on building Bhutanese professional capacity while supporting the work of government and civil society partners.

Volunteer Roles

1. Guest Experience & Flow Support
   • Check-in and name tag distribution
   • Greeting guests and directing them to reception areas
   • Crowd guidance and general wayfinding
   • Assist venue staff with coat check
   • Floating support as needed throughout the evening
2. Program & Project Booth Support
   • Volunteers will be stationed at themed booths to engage guests and support staff. Each booth will feature our core program areas (https://www.bhutanfound.org/our-work/).

Who We’re Looking For

• • Friendly, reliable individuals comfortable engaging with guests
  • Interest in Bhutanese culture, nonprofit work, or community engagement
  • Ability to commit to the full event shift (timing and orientation details will be provided)
