ALAMEDA COUNTY YOUTH IN FOSTER CARE NEED MENTORS!
WHY?
Many youth in foster care do not have a trusting, caring adult in their lives that are not part of the system. Statistically the youth are more likely to be more successful academically, socially and mentally.
WHO?
We want mentors that come from all different backgrounds, ages and genders. We want caring adults are willing to build a caring and non judgmental with a foster youth.
WHAT?
Mentors spend a minimum of 1 hour per week for A 1 YEAR FIRM COMMITMENT with their mentee. The hope is that this relationship will continue for many years!
