    Description

    Pioneer Park Work Party!

Join us for an afternoon work party in Pioneer Park. This beautiful habitat is being threatened by non-native weeds, such as ivy and blackberry. Ivy plays a big role in local habitat destruction by pulling down trees, shading out native plants, and reducing biodiversity. Join in our efforts and help to create a healthier forest.

All ages welcome, and no experience necessary! Gloves, tools, water, and small snacks provided.

    • When: Thursday, February 19th, 1pm-3pm
    • Where: Pioneer Park NW, Head to the entrance to the park on 84th Ave and SE 64th Ave, follow VOLUNTEER EVENT SIGNS from there
    • What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
