Nominations Committee

Family and Youth Initiative, Inc. in Washington, D.C. (FYI/DCFYI) welcomes eligible volunteers to serve on our Nominations Committee. We are seeking volunteers who are interested in helping the committee find potential members for our Board of Directors and its committees. The Board committees provide an opportunity for volunteers to become familiar with Board activities and initiatives and to prepare them for possible Board membership.

We are seeking Nominations Committee volunteers who are willing to help maximize the potential for recruiting potential Board and Board committee members and explore new opportunities to help grow DCFYI. The Nominations Committee provides volunteers a great opportunity to support DCFYI and its program participants.

Nominations Committee volunteers would commit to serve for at least a one-year. The committee "meets" virtually once per month at a mutually convenient date and time determined by the committee members.
