    About Oxygen for Relief & Development (ORD)

    Oxygen for Relief & Development (ORD) is a Yemeni non-profit organization based in Sana’a. We work to support vulnerable families through relief and development programs, including food security, livelihoods, WASH, and community resilience.

    About this Volunteer Role

    We are looking for a Volunteer Resource Mobilization Officer to help us strengthen our fundraising and partnership efforts. This is a remote, part-time role for someone who is passionate about supporting communities in Yemen and wants to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research potential donors, foundations, and grant opportunities
    • Support the preparation of donor maps and databases
    • Assist in drafting concept notes, project summaries, and simple proposals in English
    • Help with online fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns
    • Contribute to donor communication materials (emails, thank-you notes, updates, etc.)
    • Coordinate with ORD’s team via online meetings and shared documents

    Qualifications

    • Strong interest in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit management
    • Good English writing and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
    • Previous experience with NGOs, fundraising, or proposal writing is an asset but not required
