    Description

    Are you someone with a desire to make a difference in someone’s life? Join our hospice volunteer team and provide companionship and emotional support to patients during their end-of-life journey.

    As a Hospice Volunteer, you’ll visit patients in their homes or in care facilities to offer a friendly presence, a listening ear, and a comforting hand. Whether you’re sharing stories, playing music, reading aloud, or simply sitting quietly, your time and care mean the world to those we serve.

    Requirements:

    • Compassionate, dependable, and respectful of patient confidentiality
    • At least 18 years old
    • Must complete hospice training and background screening
    • Flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of a few hours a month
