    Description

WeAFAR is a newly formed nonprofit with a big mission and a tiny budget. We’re building resources, programs, and support for people impacted by scams and financial fraud, and developing initiatives to prevent fraud before it happens. Every helping hand counts.

We’re looking for a volunteer to assist the Founder / Executive Director in identifying grant opportunities, drafting letters, managing applications, and tracking deadlines. Your work will directly support the growth and sustainability of our organization.

    Why this matters:

Your efforts will help weAFAR secure essential funding to support victims, launch practical prevention programs, and build a credible nonprofit presence. Whether you have prior fundraising experience or simply a passion for protecting communities from financial fraud, we’d be grateful to have you on board!

    Volunteer Role:

We’re looking for a volunteer to assist the Founder / Executive Director in grant research and fundraising. This includes:

    • Researching and identifying grant opportunities suitable for a nonprofit focused on financial fraud prevention and victim support
    • Drafting letters and proposals for grants
    • Tracking deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups
    • Providing general support for fundraising and prevention initiatives

Your work will directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of weAFAR, helping us reach and protect more people.

    Goal:

Support weAFAR’s fundraising efforts to expand programs for victims and implement practical fraud prevention initiatives.
