    Description

    Lead Gardener

The Field House Museum is looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for gardening. Garden volunteers will help with landscaping efforts focused in the backyard of the historic house and several berms surrounding the museum expansion.

The Lead Gardener will spearhead efforts in the garden including:

    1. Assisting staff with cultivating and scheduling support gardeners as needed.
    2. Suggest low-maintenance landscaping plans, including annuals/perennials to plant that complement current gardens.
    3. Develop and implement maintenance plans.
    4. Work with staff to develop a budget based upon plans made.

The Field House Museum needs a dedicated individual who can confidently take charge of landscaping efforts at the site. Our overall goals are to create a welcoming yet low-maintenance environment that can be easily managed by small groups.
