Description
General Description:
ABCD’s network of neighborhood offices are the first point of contact for many individuals and families in need of critical services. The Reception Volunteer will assist staff by identifying client needs and performing administrative tasks at the front desk.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer office phone in a professional manner
- Schedule client appointments through Google Calendar
- Greet clients in-person at the office
- Help clients check-in for appointments
- Refer clients to staff for further assistance
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess strong oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Bilingual in a language spoken by ABCD clients desired (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian)
Length of Commitment:
Ongoing
Schedule (including day and time if applicable):
Monday – Friday; 9am-5pm
