    Monrovia Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:

    Food Distributions are one of the many ways that we help our neighbors in need, and we couldn't do it without volunteers like you. Check out the schedule below, and sign up through our Civic Champs page to volunteer!

    Orientation: Please sign up for an orientation to get started as a Foothill Unity Center volunteer. Once you've attended orientation, you can drop in whenever you have time to volunteer in our warehouse.

    What an Average Week at FUCI Looks Like - Monrovia Location:

    • Monday: Food distribution help needed from 8:30-11:30am, warehouse support needed from 1pm - 4:00pm
    • Tuesday: Sorting and packing food 8:30am - 4:00pm
    • Wednesday: Food distribution help needed from 8:30-11:30am, warehouse support needed from 1pm - 4:00pm
    • Thursday: Sorting and packing food 8:30am-4:00pm
    • Friday: Food distribution help needed from 8:30-11:30am, warehouse support needed from 1pm - 4:00pm

    Parking: No street parking on Thursday afternoons due to street sweeping. Please drive around the building and park in the back parking lot.

    Attire: Comfortable, sturdy, closed toed shoes. Volunteers should not wear tank tops or revealing clothing. Loose clothing can be a safety hazard.

    We have opportunities for groups as well. Please email volunteer@foothillunitycenter.org for group inquiries!

    Directions

    Please park in the large parking lot on the Monterey Avenue side of our building where the large roll-up door into our warehouse is located. Once you've parked, please walk around the building, and enter at the front entrance.
