    Description

    Fundraising / Board Development

    We need your help to reach our 2025 fundraising goal. We are seeking passionate and committed volunteers to support our fundraising strategy a board development efforts. This role is ideal for someone who believes in economic equity and wants to use their professional expertise to expand our organization’s reach, capacity, and sustainability.

    Key Areas:

    Fundraising:

    • Assist with developing and implementing fundraising strategies (individual giving, corporate sponsorships, grant opportunities, events).
    • Support donor research and relationship-building efforts.
    • Help plan and coordinate fundraising events or campaigns.
    • Identify and connect the organization with potential funders and partners.

    Board Development:

    • Help identify and recruit diverse and skilled board members aligned with the organization's mission.
    • Support board engagement strategies to increase participation and effectiveness.
    • Assist in developing onboarding materials and training for new board members.
    • Help assess and improve board performance and governance practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for entrepreneurship, economic development, and social impact.
    • Experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, board governance, or business development.
    • Strong communication and networking skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of the local business or philanthropic community is a plus.
