    Description

    The Organization

    Humanity Pathways Global (HPG) is a fiscal sponsorship and global community development organization dedicated to creating self-sustaining communities through equitable access to education, economic mobility, and social justice. HPG partners with grassroots initiatives, emerging nonprofits, and global community leaders to design, strengthen, and scale solutions that uplift human dignity and expand opportunity. Through its fiscal sponsorship model, HPG provides operational infrastructure, compliance oversight, capacity building, donor stewardship, and strategic programmatic support across multiple sectors and regions.

    Position Summary

    The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures that project objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and skilled at balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Project Planning & Coordination

    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, work breakdown structures, and resource plans.
    • Establish clear milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., programming, finance, operations, external partners).

    Execution & Monitoring

    • Lead day-to-day project activities and maintain momentum across all workstreams.
    • Track progress and adjust plans proactively to address risks, issues, and dependencies.
    • Facilitate team meetings, stand-ups, and check-ins.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates, status reports, and documentation.
    • Ensure alignment around scope, objectives, and expectations.

    Risk & Issue Management

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
    • Escalate issues appropriately and work with leadership to remove barriers.
    • Maintain a risk and issue log.

    Budget & Resource Oversight

    • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
    • Support forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain detailed project documentation including scopes of work, schedules, meeting notes, and change requests.
    • Prepare executive-level summaries and post-project evaluations.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • 3–5+ years of project management experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, MS Project).
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PMP certified
    • Experience in nonprofit, fiscal sponsorship, grants, or program development (customize as needed).
    • Experience working with international partners or distributed teams.

    Working Conditions

    The role requires flexibility to collaborate across global time zones. The successful candidate must have reliable internet access and maintain a work environment that supports confidentiality, productivity, and effective communication.
