Experienced Grant Writer for Girls’ Empowerment Nonprofit (Volunteer Role)

Leigha’s Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls through mentorship, leadership development, and community programs. We believe every girl deserves the chance to bloom where she’s planted — and we’re looking for a passionate, experienced Grant Writer to help us grow those opportunities. 🌿

This volunteer role is ideal for someone with a background in nonprofit funding, research, and proposal writing who’s ready to make a real impact. You’ll be trusted to work independently — finding relevant grants, crafting compelling applications, and helping us secure the funding that keeps our programs thriving.

✨ Responsibilities:

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Leigha’s Girls’ mission and programs.
• Write persuasive proposals that capture our story, purpose, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage grant calendars, deadlines, and submission requirements.
• Track outcomes, gather data, and assist with follow-up reporting as needed.

🌿 Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant research and writing (nonprofit or education focus preferred).
• Strong storytelling and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Grants.gov, Foundation Directory Online, or similar.
