    Description

    We are looking for new volunteers who will hold management roles to assist as in coordination, recruitment, communications, training and internal matters.

    The applicants must first work with S.O.P.I. for at least 3 months. After the 3 months trial period, they can (if they are eligible based on each role's requirements) apply to hold these management roles:

    1) Training Specialist:

    Training Specialists are responsible for training new and current volunteers. They ensure all volunteers have the knowledge, skills, and tools to succeed in their roles, while also promoting S.O.P.I.’s values and culture. The Human Resources Department has up to three (3) Training Specialists.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and oversee training programs (basic onboarding, role-specific, advanced).
    2. Conduct training sessions (live or recorded).
    3. Create manuals, guides, and learning materials.
    4. Track volunteer progress and provide feedback.
    5. Identify skill gaps and suggest new training topics.
    6. Collaborate with Coordinators to prepare training tailored to team needs.
    7. Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials regularly.
    8. Share an availability timetable for meetings.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 18+ years old.
    • English level B2+ (C1+ preferred)
    • Availability 4–5 hrs/week
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Have understood the whole organizational and operational structure of S.O.P.I.
    • Writing skills.
    • Basic internet access.
    • Knowledge of training/education methods.
    • Communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience in teaching/training (preferred).
    • Basic internet skills.

    2) Recruitment Specialist:

    Recruitment Specialists ensure S.O.P.I. attracts and retains motivated volunteers. They oversee applications, interviews, and onboarding, making sure the right people are matched with the right roles. They are responsible for the onboarding of the new volunteers and their recruitment to a Team that suits them. The Human Resources Department has up to three (3) Recruitment Specialists.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Manage volunteer applications and maintain records.
    2. Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability.
    3. Match applicants to available roles based on skills and interest.
    4. Coordinate with Team Coordinators for approvals.
    5. Support onboarding process (welcome call, first steps).
    6. Promote a fair, inclusive, and transparent recruitment process.
    7. Track recruitment statistics and report to the Director.
    8. Manage volunteer roles changes and maintain records.
    9. Approving or disapproving changes of roles and moving between Teams.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 18+ years old
    • English B2+
    • Availability 4–5 hrs/week
    • Organizational and people-assessment skills.
    • Welcoming communication style.
    • Knowledge of HR/recruitment practices (preferred).

    3) Partnership Specialist:

    The Partnerships Specialist builds and maintains collaborations with other NGOs, institutions, or stakeholders. They create opportunities for S.O.P.I. to grow its network and impact. The Communications Department has only one (1) Partnership Specialist.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Identify and approach potential partners (NGOs, schools, institutions, companies).
    2. Maintain relationships with current partners.
    3. Negotiate collaboration terms with the approval of the Director.
    4. Document and track partnership agreements.
    5. Coordinate joint activities or campaigns with partners.
    6. Provide regular updates on partnerships to Communications Coordinator/Director.
    7. In cooperation with R.P. Specialist, make the team attractive to new partners.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 19+ years old.
    • English C1+
    • Availability at least 3–4 hrs/week
    • Networking and diplomatic skills.
    • Ability to represent S.O.P.I. in external discussions.
    • Experience in partnerships/fundraising (preferred).

    4) Public Relations Specialist:

    The PR Specialist manages S.O.P.I.’s public image, ensuring consistent, professional communication across channels. They handle press releases, media relations, and public-facing announcements. The Communications Department has only one (1) P.R. Specialist.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Write and distribute press releases, announcements, and newsletters.
    2. Maintain relationships with journalists, media, and influencers.
    3. Draft statements and responses for public inquiries.
    4. Ensure consistency in S.O.P.I.’s tone and messaging.
    5. Support social media and website communication with professional input.
    6. Monitor public perception and suggest improvements.
    7. Contacts for promotion and expansion of the team.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 19+ years old.
    • English C1+
    • Availability 3–4 hrs/week
    • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • PR/media relations knowledge.
    • Professionalism in handling sensitive issues.
    • Journalism/PR experience (preferred)

    5) Website & Social Media Manager:

    The Website & Social Media Managers (also referred to internally as Media Manager) oversee S.O.P.I.’s online presence by maintaining the website and managing social media channels. Ensures content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines while monitoring analytics to improve reach and engagement. Collaborates closely with content creators and writers to keep all platforms active and up to date. The Communications Department has up to two (2) Website & Social Media Managers.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Maintain and update the S.O.P.I. website.
    2. Ensure functionality, accessibility, and accuracy of content.
    3. Collaborate with Content Creators for updates.
    4. Monitor site analytics and improve visibility (SEO).
    5. Plan, schedule, and publish posts according to the content calendar.
    6. Plan and prepare a content calendar weekly and monthly.
    7. Coordinate with Content Creators and Writers.
    8. Track engagement and analytics.
    9. Ensure brand guidelines are respected.
    10. Ensure brand consistency.
    11. Request tasks from the Creation Team Coordinator or for other Teams.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 18+ years old
    • English C1+
    • Availability 5-6 hrs/week
    • Proven website management skills (WordPress/Wix/HTML).
    • Attention to detail.
    • Experience with social platforms & analytics tools.
    • Ability to maintain brand consistency.
    • Creative and reliable.
    • Ability to coordinate with content volunteers.

    6) Legal Support Specialist:

    Responsibilities:

    1. Advise on nonprofit laws, contracts, agreements, and compliance.
    2. Review partnership agreements or official documents before approval.
    3. Ensure internal policies meet legal requirements.
    4. Provide guidance on data protection and volunteer rights.
    5. Support the Director and Coordinators with legal advice when needed.
    6. Keep records of legal compliance and important documents.

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3+ months volunteering in S.O.P.I.
    • Age 21+ years old.
    • English C1+
    • Availability 3–4 hrs/week
    • Legal background (law student, legal advisor, etc.).
    • Understanding of nonprofit/NGO regulations.
    • Confidentiality and accuracy.
