    Description

Pet Therapy - Hospice Patient Visits

We are looking for established, and/or new, Pet Therapy Teams, that have Bright & Beautiful, or Therapy Dogs International, or some other Pet Therapy certification, to join our pool of Hospice Volunteers, providing hospice patients, and/or their families, with extra attention when on our service.

If you have a Pet Therapy Animal, I don't need to tell you the power that their visits have.

We are looking for Teams who can visit weekly, or every-other-week, to patients under our care, mostly who are in a nursing facility and have long been without constant canine contact.

I wish Hospice Volunteering onboarding was a snap, but it is a process... But really just for the human team member. If you are ready to go through the process, because you know the benefit that you can bring to others, whose days are limited, please reply to this post and I'll send you details about our onboarding process.
