    Description

Help on the Food Shuttle Farm

Help Out at the Food Shuttle Farm! No Experience Needed. Come Volunteer on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Volunteers will assist with general farm tasks such as seasonal harvesting, packing, planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, and greenhouse work. Farm tasks are subject to change daily based on needs but please come prepared to bend, kneel, and lift medium to heavy items to complete our daily tasks. Please do not forget to bring a water bottle!

The Food Shuttle Farm supports Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s mission by growing local, nutritious produce with regenerative agriculture practices for our food distribution and culinary programs. Over 97% of our harvested produce goes directly into distribution at School Pantries, Mobile Markets, The Spinning Plate, and more, providing the freshest produce possible to neighbors experiencing hunger and food insecurity. The remaining 3% percent of the crop is sold onsite at our Farm Stand, located just 10 minutes from the heart of Raleigh.
