    The Post Baby Bliss Foundation is a startup nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting postpartum families through education, resources, and compassionate care. Our mission is to empower parents during the postpartum period by fostering a community of support and offering programs that prioritize maternal and family well-being.     • Location: Remote- Houston (with occasional in-person meetings or events, as needed)
    • Schedule/Commitment:
    • Flexible schedule with an average commitment of 10–15 hours per week.
    • Ability to attend occasional virtual meetings and events

    • Able to commit to volunteer for at least 6 months

    Role Overview:

    The HR Assistant Manager will support the HR Specialist in maintaining effective human resources operations for the Foundation. This includes assisting with onboarding, volunteer support, personnel tracking, and helping shape the internal culture of the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their experience in nonprofit HR, gain leadership exposure, and be part of something meaningful from the ground up.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and orientation
    • Help maintain personnel files and track volunteer engagement
    • Coordinate internal communications and support team member recognition
    • Provide administrative support for training, compliance, and scheduling
    • Contribute to developing and refining HR systems and policies
    • Support efforts to promote a positive and inclusive team culture

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Below is a list of Knowledge, skills, and abilities at the minimum needed to satisfactorily perform the job.

    • Experience: Interest or background in HR, nonprofit management, or administration
    • Education : Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (required):
      • Human Resources Management
      • Business Administration
      • Industrial/Organizational Psychology
      • Management
      • Labor Relations
    • Knowledge: Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Airtable, or HR software (a plus)
    • Competencies & Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Abilities: Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.

    • Passionate about supporting postpartum families and advancing the Foundation’s mission.
    • A proactive, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
    • Someone who has high integrity, empathy, and patience.

    Physical demands:

    • The role involves working at a desk, using a computer, and performing tasks that require prolonged periods of sitting and some repetitive motions.
    • The ability to read and review documents which may involve reading and reviewing detailed information for extended periods on screens and on paper.
