Make a difference simply by being you.
Hospice volunteers offer something truly meaningful: their time, compassion, and presence. As a volunteer, you’ll support patients and families during an important time of life by providing companionship, comfort, and a listening ear. Whether it’s sharing conversation, reading aloud, offering a gentle presence, or supporting caregivers, your kindness helps ensure no one feels alone. No medical experience is required—just a caring heart and a willingness to be there for others.
We provide training, guidance, and ongoing support, and we work with you to find a role that fits your interests, availability, and comfort level. Many volunteers tell us they receive just as much as they give.
What Hospice Volunteers May Do:
-Spend time with patients through conversation or quiet companionship
-Offer emotional support to patients and families
-Help with simple activities like reading, writing letters, or listening to music
-Provide respite for caregivers
-Support our hospice team in meaningful, non-medical ways
We are looking forward to having you join us in making a difference in our communities and the lives of patients and families.
