Every Saturday this June, July, August and September!
Come roll up your sleeves and make a difference for rescued animals in need! Our Volunteer Work Days are a hands-on way to support the daily care and well-being of the animals who call Outsiders home. Whether you're a seasoned sanctuary helper or brand new to farm life, there’s something for everyone to do.
Typical volunteer tasks include:
Sweeping & Shoveling Barns - Help us keep barns clean, safe, and cozy for residents.
Raking & Removing Manure - An essential task for maintaining healthy, hygienic habitats.
Debris & Blanket Cleanup - Pick up and dispose of ripped bedding, storm debris, and trash.
Landscaping & Weed Eating - Help us maintain a clean and safe environment while keeping pest and snake risks low.
Snack Prep - Chop produce and prepare enrichment treats for our animal friends.
Animal Socialization - Offer gentle interaction, love, and trust-building with our residents.
Construction & Repairs (Skilled Help Needed) - Assist with fencing, ramps, shade structures, and other vital projects.
Work days are active and can be physically demanding, but they’re also deeply rewarding. You’ll leave tired, probably dirty, and proud, knowing you made a direct impact on animals’ lives.
We welcome individuals, families, and groups. All you need is a good attitude, closed-toed shoes, and a love for animals.

Turn onto Buck Holw road- it is a gravel road. We are located on the left side (there is a 131 marker on the driveway).
