    LandSeed is a non-profit organization tackling the Canadian housing crisis with a unique, data-powered approach. We bridge critical gaps in the housing ecosystem by integrating deep community market data with advanced AI systems. Our focus is on crowdsourcing and identifying obstacles to attainable affordable housing, allowing us to deliver structured, scalable solutions where they are needed most.

Our vision is to pioneer data-driven designs and value structures for entry-level housing across Canada.

    About the role:

    You will lead the Scoping Review team while also actively contributing to the research itself. You will ensure methodological rigor, coordinate tasks, and produce actionable insights to inform town halls, knowledge translation, and the broader dementia village project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Active Research Contributions

    Define scoping review questions and objectives

    Conduct literature search, screening, and data extraction

    Synthesize findings and contribute to thematic summaries

    Team Oversight & Coordination

    Assign tasks and timelines to Researcher volunteers

    Monitor progress against milestones and ensure deadlines are met

    Provide mentorship and guidance to researchers

    Facilitate regular team check-ins

    Integration & Reporting

    Communicate findings into actionable insights for Town Hall and KT teams

    Report progress, challenges, and outputs to the project lead

    Ensure outputs meet high methodological standards

    Quality Assurance

    Peer-review team members’ work for rigor, consistency, and clarity

    Ensure documentation (PRISMA flow, extraction tables, summaries) is complete and accurate

    Education / Skills Required:

    Post-secondary education (Master’s or higher preferred) in gerontology, public health, social sciences, health policy, or related fields

    Strong knowledge of dementia care, aging, and community-based models

    Experience conducting scoping or systematic reviews

    Experience leading small teams or coordinating projects

    Proficiency with literature databases and reference management tools (Covidence, EndNote, Zotero

    Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
