Help plant & harvest at our Farm & Food Gardens with residents of affordable & permanent supportive housing

Join the Growing Hope Garden Team at our regenerative farm in Santa Monica, or help maintain food-growing planters at nearby affordable and permanent supportive housing communities.

Volunteers will assist with planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting to support resident access to fresh, healthy food. No experience needed-just a willingness to get your hands in the soil and support community well-being!

    When

Tuesdays, 10am-noon (Farm & Resident Food Gardens)

    Saturdays, 10am-noon (Farm only)

    Where

We meet at the Farm where you can choose to stay and help there or walk, bike or drive (Tuesdays only) to nearby low income housing food gardens within less than 1 mile of the farm.

Location: Walk down the left driveway of 2033 Virginia Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404, to reach the farm in the back.

Important note: We kindly recommend parking at Virginia Avenue Park or using metered parking along Pico Blvd. To respect the privacy of residents, please do not park in or block the driveway at 2033 Virginia Ave. Keeping this area clear ensures residents have full access to their residences.

    • Wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, long pants, and bring your water bottle & smiles!
