    Board Member, Finance and Accounting Management

    Together Estranged (TE) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports and empowers estranged adult children. Our mission is to support and empower those estranged from family while enhancing social understanding for the destigmatization of estrangement.     Our working board requires a member with Financial and Accounting Management expertise. This voluntary role will act as the primary fiduciary, ensuring the nonprofit's financial integrity, oversight, data collection, and reporting in compliance with applicable laws and agency regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in 501c3 accounting compliance and financial management. Duties include the ability to conduct appropriate internal audits, produce in-house and public reports, as well as recommend strategies for financial safeguards and the health of the organization. Additionally, this position demands consistent collaboration and communication with fellow board members and volunteers.
