    Volunteer Video Editor

    Role Overview

    As a Volunteer Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and reach of Kaiyros' multimedia content. You will be responsible for editing, refining, and post-production for video content that aligns with our mission and engages our audience.

    The ideal candidate is someone who wants to combine their passion for mental health, creative expression, and social impact with their creative prowess in video editing and post-production.

    The main project that needs editing are two unique interview in a "talking head" style of two well-known people speaking about mental health, their upbringing, personal trials, addiction, family, creative pursuits, and personal philosophies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Edit and post-produce video content, including interviews and short-form video essays.
    • Work with content creators and writers to align multimedia content with Kaiyros' storytelling goals.
    • Assist in repurposing existing content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and Kaiyros' website.
    • Ensure consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across all multimedia content.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, DaVinci Resolve, etc).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, engaging multimedia content.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team.
    • Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and effective visual presentation.
    • Knowledge of social media and video platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.) is a plus.
