    Description

    Area Representatives are integral high school volunteers who host and serve as the face of Art of the Heart at its live concerts. They are treated as a member of the Programs team and work closely with Art of the Heart staff to host live performance opportunities for volunteers at assisted living facilities. Depending on the size of the county, up to two Area Representatives may be assigned to work together. All Area Representatives are managed by Programs Managers, which are assigned based on location.

    Area Representative Responsibilities

    Duties for Area Representatives are outlined below:

    • Host all live events in their county
      • Meet minimum concert-hosting frequency requirements
      • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for live concerts
    • Maintain clear and regular communication with the assigned Programs Manager
    • Report availability for concert hosting at least three months in advance
    • Act with appropriate conduct as a representative of Art of the Heart
