The Shepherd's Food Pantry Needs Volunteers

Word of Truth Anointed Ministries is a partner agency of Foodbank of Central & Eastern NC and operates a food pantry, Shepherd’s Pantry. The Shepherd’s Pantry is a client choice food pantry model, allowing people seeking food assistance to choose for themselves what products they receive at no cost. Our food distribution is every Friday from 1:00pm to 6:00 pm. We need volunteers on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 to 1:00pm to stock food. On Thursdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm for sorting and stocking food also in preparation for food distribution. On Friday, we need volunteers to assist with distributing the food and the pantry is open on Fridays from 9:00am to 7:00pm. We need volunteers to deliver food to individuals who are unable to come to the pantry due to limited mobility. Needing volunteers who can speak Spanish on Fridays from 1 to 6. We provide documentation of hours if needed.
