South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We are looking for a Volunteer Blogger to create compelling, insightful, and SEO-friendly blog posts that share stories, resources, and highlight our mission. This is a remote volunteer role ideal for someone with strong writing skills, creativity, and a passion for using words to inspire, educate, and empower.

What You'll Do:

• Write two blog posts per month (600–1,000 words) on topics relevant to young mothers such as empowerment, education, job readiness, self-care, and financial literacy.
• Incorporate SEO best practices to increase visibility and drive traffic to South Project’s website.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with events, workshops, and campaigns.
• Conduct research on trending topics and resources to ensure content is fresh, informative, and impactful.
• Help shape and maintain South Project’s voice across all blog content.

Time Commitment:

• Flexible, remote role
• Estimated 4–6 hours per month (2 posts per month)

What We're Looking For:

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to research and develop original content.
• Organized and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic SEO knowledge (or willingness to learn).
• Interest in nonprofit work and a passion for empowering young mothers.
