The Translation Commons Talent Management Group is looking for volunteer Talent Coordinators to assist with volunteers’ recruitment. This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable experience within a thriving international non-profit organization. You will work together with the Talent Coordination and Group Managers to interview and help the new volunteers in their on-boarding process
This is a volunteer and remote opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage TC volunteers’ signups through the Master Volunteer Google spreadsheet
- As the first TC point of contact to applicants, lead the Meet & Greet meetings (i.e. interviews with new volunteers and record the interviewees’ answers)
- Manage the allocation of both new and ongoing volunteers to Groups
- Monitor volunteer status (active or inactive) and redirect volunteers from inactive to active groups (coordinates with Engagement Group), update Master Volunteer Spreadsheet
- Field and answer questions, problems, requests, and issues from volunteers
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a particular focus on intercultural contexts
- Familiarity with technology (Google Spreadsheet, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Interested in acquiring translation and community management experience
- Weekly commitment of 5 hours per week.
