    Description

    Curriculum Coordinator (Volunteer)

    About A&N Career Services Project

A&N Career Services Project is a career services and workforce readiness initiative supporting individuals as they navigate career transitions, build readiness, and connect with opportunity. Our programs are grounded in practical guidance, employer-informed learning, and clearly defined frameworks that guide how our work is designed and delivered.

As the Project grows, creating a consistent and adaptable curriculum structure is essential to delivering high-quality programming across cohorts, locations, and partnerships.

    Role Overview

We are seeking a Curriculum Coordinator (Volunteer) to support the development and organization of curriculum outlines, modules, and learning structures used across A&N Career Services Project programs.

This role focuses on curriculum structure and coordination, not teaching or facilitation. You will help translate A&N’s existing frameworks into clear, modular curriculum formats that can be consistently applied across programs and adapted as the Project evolves.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys organizing ideas, building learning flows, and creating reusable program structures. Candidates from a wide range of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including workforce development, HR, program design, professional development, consulting, content structuring, or related fields. Teaching experience is not required.

More than one volunteer may be selected for this role based on project needs.

    Volunteer Engagement Format

This is a virtual-first volunteer role. All core responsibilities can be completed remotely using shared tools and documentation.

An orientation will be held at the start of the cohort to provide context on A&N frameworks, current programming, and expectations. Optional in-person activities may be available when aligned with Project needs, but location is not a requirement for contribution.

Volunteers participate as part of a 12-week cohort with defined scope, collaboration touchpoints, and clear deliverables.

    What You Will Do

    • Support the organization and coordination of curriculum outlines aligned with A&N frameworks
    • Help develop modular learning structures that can be reused across programs and cohorts
    • Assist with defining learning objectives and session flow at a program level
    • Support the implementation and refinement of curriculum formats used in programming
    • Ensure curriculum materials are clear, consistent, and practical for real-world use
    • Collaborate with program operations, content, and communications volunteers to ensure alignment
    • Contribute to program readiness for future cohorts, pilots, and partnerships
    • Participate in virtual collaboration and optional meetings as available

More than one volunteer may be selected for this role based on project needs.

You Will Be a Strong Fit If You

    • Have experience working with curriculum, training materials, or structured learning content
    • Enjoy organizing information and creating clarity from complex ideas
    • Are comfortable applying existing frameworks rather than building everything from scratch
    • Prefer behind-the-scenes coordination and design over facilitation or instruction
    • Can work independently while collaborating with others
    • Want to contribute foundational work that will be actively used across programs

    What You Will Gain

    • Hands-on experience coordinating curriculum development for a growing initiative
    • Portfolio-ready examples of curriculum and program structure work
    • Professional references upon successful completion of the cohort
    • Mentorship and collaboration with experienced leaders in career services and workforce development
    • Inclusion in a growing professional network connected to A&N Career Services Project
    • A meaningful opportunity to help shape how programs are delivered as the Project scale
