    Description

    Clean & Feed Volunteer

    We are looking for adults at least 18 years of age who can commit to a weekly 2 hour Clean and Feed shift.

    Volunteers feed the cats and clean the entire facility following the prescribed cleaning protocols with a team of up to 5 other volunteers. Volunteers are asked to socialize with the cats if there is time left at the end of the shift or volunteers can come early or stay late to spend more time with the cats.

    There are two Clean & Feed shifts each day of the week (Mon - Sun):

    • 8AM - 10AM
    • 4PM - 6PM

    Shift availability varies and we will work with you to see if we have a current match. We will consider an every other week commitment for our weekend shifts.

    Due to the training involved, this opportunity is not suitable for those looking for a limited number of volunteer hours. We are looking for a longer-term weekly commitment.

    Shifts with current openings:

    • Morning Shift - Thursday, Friday or Sunday - 8:00 to 10:00 am EST
    • Afternoon Shift - Saturday - 4:00 to 6:00 pm EST

    Volunteers are required to read the Clean & Feed Protocols, attend a short Orientation and pay a $20 Volunteer Fee. All new volunteers receive a LMTR t-shirt.
