    Description

Compassus Hospice is looking for volunteers to be part of our organization. Our volunteers, spend time with patients in their homes or in facilities, giving them a person to engage with. Volunteers are a vital part of our care, and we recognize the need for this type of volunteer to honor the last days of our patients lives. Our volunteers give great comfort, companionship and friendship to those who need to be cared for.

We train our volunteers at the time of onboarding and support them with training throughout the year. No experience needed as a volunteer, just a warm and loving heart to be with those who just need a person to talk to, or to share their life story with.

WE also understand that not all volunteers are comfortable with visiting patients, we also can use volunteers in the office setting, crafts and support roles.
