Volunteer Video Editor – Help Create 98-Second Impact Videos for Military, Veterans & First Responders

98 Octane is a veteran-founded nonprofit helping Military, Veterans, and First Responders live longer, stronger, healthier lives. We’re building a new content initiative and are looking for volunteers who can help us edit simple, clean 98-second videos using the scripts, clips, and direction we provide.

If you enjoy editing short videos—even casually—this is an easy and meaningful way to support our mission.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble 98-second videos and short-form clips using footage and scripts we provide
• Add captions, simple transitions, and clean cuts
• Help us produce 2–4 videos per month (or whatever you can commit to)
• Match our existing style by referencing our Instagram videos
• Support storytelling that directly impacts Military, Veterans, and First Responders

Qualifications (Beginner-Friendly)

• Basic editing skills using CapCut, iMovie, Premiere, or any similar tool
• Ability to follow simple direction and piece together provided clips
• Attention to clean, viewer-friendly pacing
• Willingness to support a mission-driven nonprofit

No advanced experience needed — just reliability and care for the work.

Future Opportunities

This is a volunteer role, but as 98 Octane grows and secures more funding, future paid creative roles may open. Volunteers who help us build our content foundation will be considered first.
