    Description

Inspire a Student - Become a Volunteer in San Francisco Public Schools!

Every student needs someone who believes in them-someone who says, "You’ve got this!" As a volunteer with the San Francisco Education Fund, you can be that person for a student in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD).

With just one hour a week, you can support a public-school student in reading, math, science, art, or simply by showing up and encouraging them to succeed.

Volunteers are needed at every grade level and in every subject area, and we’ll match you with a school that fits your interests and schedule. You can:

    ✔️Read with elementary students

    ✔️Tutor middle schoolers in math

✔️Encourage creativity in the arts or support STEM

    ✔️Assist teachers with classroom needs

    Bilingual volunteers are especially needed!

    • If you speak Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, Arabic, Vietnamese, or another language, your skills are in high demand. Many students thrive with the support of volunteers who speak their home language.

Upcoming Volunteer Trainings:Virtual General Training - August 19 or September 11
